The Taylors

Back in November, I had the opportunity to photograph my friend (who also happens to be a photographer), Jodi, and her beautiful family. What a great time we had that gorgeous fall afternoon. There was a bit of a chill in the air, but our endless laughter kept us warm. Anyone who knows Jodi Taylor knows that she has the ability to pull a funny phrase out of nowhere and have you doubled over in laughter in about 2 seconds flat. Love that girl. :)

Gearing up

Yup...we're gearing up for our next promotion, set to launch in the new year. It's gonna be a good one! I've been envisioning some contests in the future as well, where you can win fine art for your walls and photo shoots! Yippee!! Woodward Family

These beautiful people have been my friends for years and have always been huge supporters of my photography talent from it's very beginning. They have been so encouraging and I appreciate them. When I first started taking pictures, their two oldest children were often my subjects. Now their family has grown, and I still enjoy taking pictures of them. They're so full of life and energy and always come out with the cutest looks and funniest expressions!

This little family happens to belong to my sister. :)
I love these people. ♥ They are one of the reasons I consider myself to be the most blessed woman I know.

My handsome little boy turned two last month! I can't believe it. It was just "yesterday" that he was my little helpless newborn. Now he stomps through the house saying things like, "Ready...not...here...come..." and "Tractor!!!!", in his imitation man voice. Love this guy.

A couple weekends ago we went to Quebec to visit my family. I am so thankful to be surrounded by such a great bunch. :)
On our way home, we sidetracked a bit and spent the better part of Tuesday with my uncle, Jason, and his gorgeous family in Brockville. They took us on a special boat ride to one of the many small islands found at that end of the St. Lawrence. It was beautiful. And the weather was perfect.

I recently had the opportunity to photograph one of the most expressive babies I've ever seen, and her lovely parents, Amberley and Craig. Sheridan has the cutest grin and smiles with her entire face!

Old Montréal

What a beautiful fall weekend! I had three photo shoots planned for our weekend in Montréal and I couldn't have picked a better time! On Saturday after my Old Montréal shoots were finished, I stuck around until sunset and soaked up the beauty of a culture we moved from 7 years ago this month. It's true...sometimes I miss it there and it still feels like home when I go back. *sigh* There's something about Montréal that leaves a stamp on your heart forever.

Bonjour!

Oui, la vie est belle! And so is Montréal! We are expanding our borders this month and moving the "studio" from Niagara to Montréal - a city that is very dear to my heart. As you may know, my family still lives in this area and I visit every couple of months, just like I will be doing on the weekend of October 17th. Only this time, I've booked a day of photo shoots in Old Montréal! I can't wait! It's been years since I was actually in Old Montréal, so I will soak up every minute of my time there.

Studio Vie will be visiting new locations from time to time and planning photo days here and there. We have alot of interest coming from New Brunswick and have plans of heading that way sometime in the Spring of 2010. If you love our photography and have wondered if we'll ever be in your area, please drop us a line! We'd love to hear from you and possibly plan a trip a little closer to where you are!
