mama & baby sessions

Inspired by my own pregnancy and many friends who are pregnant around me, I have come up with this special promotion to those expecting their baby sometime in 2010.

For $200 you can get 2 photos sessions - one maternity session, before your baby is born, and one baby session, up to 6 months after your baby is born - and 60 online proofs in a private album.

If you choose to do so, you can order prints from us, or the full resolution dvd for making your own prints and keepsakes, at an additional cost.

We can choose an appropriate location for your photo sessions, together.

For your maternity session, we can get as creative as you like! If you want to show lots of skin, this is the time to do it. If you'd rather have an urban, fashion-style maternity shoot, we can do that too! You decide how you want this special time of your life to be remembered.

For your baby session, we realize that newborns are unpredictable in many ways, so all our sessions are very relaxed. We work around mama and baby's schedule and find the best photos come from a quiet, peaceful atmosphere, usually at home.

To celebrate the new year I've decided to offer my original art print for sale for a limited time in any size up to 16x20! Perfect if you're looking to add some cheekiness to your space this year. (actual print has no watermark)
For the rest of January, all the proceeds from these posters will go towards The Canadian Red Cross relief efforts in Haiti. Convo me for details!!

The show

I had the opportunity to be a part of Canada's Wedding Expo last weekend. It was great fun and a learning experience for me - thanks to Lindsay and Aleksandra from Aleksandra Jewellry for inviting me!
One of my original art prints on display - by the way, I have these available for sale in any size up to 16x20. I have one on my wall at home and it always gets a chuckle out of people. :)

And this was the booth on day two, when Lindsay decided to pack up.
This year's show was actually a little slow (from what the other exhibitors were saying) although I did manage to get meet many beaming Brides and Grooms. :)

This weekend...

We have a busy weekend coming up! We'll be at Canada's Wedding Expo this coming Saturday and Sunday, so if you have a chance to come and check us out, please do! It's going to be a fun weekend!

The Taylors

Back in November, I had the opportunity to photograph my friend (who also happens to be a photographer), Jodi, and her beautiful family. What a great time we had that gorgeous fall afternoon. There was a bit of a chill in the air, but our endless laughter kept us warm. Anyone who knows Jodi Taylor knows that she has the ability to pull a funny phrase out of nowhere and have you doubled over in laughter in about 2 seconds flat. Love that girl. :)

Gearing up

Yup...we're gearing up for our next promotion, set to launch in the new year. It's gonna be a good one! I've been envisioning some contests in the future as well, where you can win fine art for your walls and photo shoots! Yippee!!
